Cloudy Bay Te Koko 2019 Sauvignon Blanc - 75cl

Released as a mature wine, Te Koko is an individual expression of the Sauvignon Blanc grape. Barrel fermented with wild yeast, it offers a deliciously aromatic and richly texture style..A fragrant nose of toasted nuts, fresh thyme and nectarines. The palate is mouthfilling with ample ripe tropical fruit and lemon sorbet. Particularly recommended with savoury and rich dishes.

This is not typical Sauvignon Blanc - due to how the team approach making this wine. It all started as an experiment back in 1991and has become something of a cult of a wine for those in the know. Cloudy Bay was the first vineyard to be taken seriously form New Zealand and this wine just goes to show that they haven't rested on their laurels.
